::BREATHE IN, BREATHE OUT::

As I alluded here and then here, the Search For a Decently-Priced Yet Not-Too-Meat-Markety Gym has been occurring, thanks to many early mornings and helpful hints in the comments. But Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a winner!

Austin and I decided on 24 Hour Fitness at Mockingbird and Greenville. They were running a great deal that we were able to hack quite nicely: $0 enrollment fee (usually $99), $0 processing fee (usually $79), and $41/month on a month-to-month basis. Sounds kind of pricey, right? But the thing is, when you get the VIP Guest Priveleges add-on, which is $10/month, you can bring a guest any time you come to work out. So, as long as I go at the same time Austin does (which I was planning, anyway), it only costs us $26/month each! I couldn't find a single gym with that price, even with tons of money down.

Plus, they offer weekend classes (yoga on Sunday was yummy), a wide variety of machines, and an ample supply of aerobic machines. We are sold.

And waking up an hour and a half earlier to work out? The energy I get from the workout more than makes up for what I lost by lack of sleep. It feels great to be back in the world of the fitnessy.
