::JUST MY TYPOGRAPHY::A while ago, I fell in love with a typeface I saw in
Condé Nast Traveler (I got a free subscription when I subscribed to the paper). So I wrote their editor:
SUBJECT: Typeface Identification
I'd love to know the mixed-case typeface used in the article "Sleeping Beauty" (March 2007). I love it and would like to buy it! Please tell me you didn't cobble it together from one font on your own! Thanks so much!
In less than two days, Brook Wilkinson, Associate Consumer News Editor, wrote back:
Hi Summer. That typeface is filosophia [sic] unicase. It’s an emegre font. Hope this helps!
Thanks, Brook, that helped immensely! The
online font identifier I tried, though reallyreally cool, didn't identify it.
So, without further ado, here's
Filosofia Unicase.
This is
so going into wedding materials.
