::IT'S 3.14-YOU! ::Today was the most amazing day at the museum... The line stretched out the door at 10:00 AM. I "worked the door" for an hour, set up for a
Zula Patrol booth, scrambled together some pi activities because I found out while working the door that they were advertised for starting at noon, covered for a staff member and friend whose mom was really ill, was told "I love you as though you were my daughter" by an amazing colleague, took no lunch break, and did the usual e-mail fielding, administrative duties, etc. I am exhausted.
It's Pi Day today, as well as Einstein's birthday. Some people asked me, "Wow, how cool is it that pi is the same day as its inventor's birthday?" Um, no.
Cold Stone Creamery parnered with Radio Disney (featuring the illustriously awesome deejay Jay Jenson) to serve ice cream birthday cake for the birthday fest, and we served apple pie in the Inquiry Zone at 3:14 PM. Plus we made
pi chains, which I felt all meta about. I mean, awesome. A chain about pi, made of loops. Woot.
