::DISCOVERY CHANNEL::I might be on channel 8 tonight being interviewed about the upcoming Discovery launch! After interviewing some of our visitors,
Brad Hawkins, who is rather dreamy, needed a female voice to round out his interviewees. I offered to step in, and when he asked me whether I was "speaking as a science geek or as a representative of the museum," I said:
"One and the same, Brad. One and the same."
So yeah, I didn't say anything earth- or shuttle-shattering, but the look on his face and eyes when I finished answering his question was clear. "Thank you," he gushed, "A female voice. An
articulate female voice."
Judge for yourself. Tonight. WFAA. On either the 5:30 PM or 10:00 PM newscast.
I don't think I'll ever get tired of being interviewed for TV or radio.
UPDATE: "I'll have every finger crossed"? What was I thinking?
