::BIG TEX AND THE CITY::

Sunday, we went to the grand ol' State Fair of Texas. Mainly to eat.

So! This is what FRIED COKE looks like in a cup:


And this is what it looks like on my face:


It's made of coke-infused dough, fried into little balls, soaked in Coke syrup, then topped with whipped cream and cinnamon. It was good.

But the FRIED PRALINE PERFECTION was better.

We took our picture atop the Texas Star; here's this year's. (And here are the ones from 2005 and 2004!)

Here's the whole State Fair 2006 photoset. I plan to go back at night and get some shots of the midway lights.
