::LATE ADOPTER::

So I'm listening to our local top-40 radio station on my way to work (my commute is literally six minutes long, so it's rare I'd get to hear an entire NPR feature), and instead of the bullshit R&B I usually hear -- crap like The Blackeyed Peas, The Pussycat Dolls, and that annoyingly cool-in-the-commercial-but-lame-in-its-entirety "Promiscuous" -- I hear this song that sonically impresses me. The vocals sound like a blend between Jamiroquai and Jamie Lidell, and the hook is catchier than a baseball mit (yeah, you like that one? I have a bajillion more where that came from).

I hear it identified on our JackFM station later in the day, and I think, Oh, so that's what all the "Gnarls Barkley" fooferall in the blogosphere is about.

I frickin' love that song!
