::LONG LIVE THE FLATS! ::

I'm headed to Las Vegas for the balance of this week. The purpose of the trip is not to gamble; it's to see one of my Top Five Favorite Bands, Sigur Rós in concert at the Hard Rock Hotel on Thursday night (they weren't playing anywhere near Dallas, and flight tickets were cheapest to Vegas). We hope to see Avenue Q, as well, which is ridiculously recommended by anyone cool we know who's been to Vegas recently.

After Austin and I get back, we're hopping in the car to go to Austin, where another of my Top Five Favorite Bands, Four Tet will be playing Saturday night.

Good times. After last week, I so need this.
