::FUN CHEMISTRY FACT OF THE DAY, PART 1::

Hey, kids, it's National Chemistry Week! For the next seven eight days (Natinal Mole Day is October 23 - can't forget that one!), I'll be gifting to you a rad chemical fact or observation.

This morning, I noticed the following, and it provided the catalyst for my Fun Chemistry Fact of the Day (catalysts rule!):

When you spray 409 on dried-on-tile red wine, the wine turns a dusky, deep blue.
Comments:
409 - coooool.
