::TODAY, CALL ME TRAILER TRASH::

I am predisposed to see this film because:
a) I love Claire Danes (though she looks a little too Selma Blair-ish in the photo, and a little too frumpy in the trailer);
b) I always wanted to read the book;
c) They use Death Cab for Cutie and The Notwist in the preview.

No wonder October 21 is during National Chemistry Week: Shop Girl.
Comments:
I found the book long on telling and short on showing, but it wasn't bad. I still think it's creepy that Steve Martin cast himself opposite Claire Danes.
